2024 EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING:

At Hanging Lake Adventure Co-op, our drivers are the unsung heroes of the river and trail. They are often the first and last people our guests interact with, and their job is not just to transport, but to make an impression. Our fleet of vans and buses are well-maintained, clean and ready to take guests to and from the river and trail, with trailers in tow to carry all the necessary equipment for a successful adventure.

Our drivers play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our business, as they handle the logistics of getting everyone and everything to the departure and pick-up points. They are more than just drivers, they are the ambassadors of our company and they know how to make our guests feel special, starting from the moment they board our vehicles.

In addition to their driving duties, our drivers are also expected to help load gear and prepare equipment, taking extra care to ensure a seamless adventure experience for our guests.

If you’re looking for an exciting career in the outdoors and love working with people, why not consider becoming a driver for Hanging Lake Adventure Co-op? We’re always looking for talented individuals who share our passion for the rivers, trails, and great outdoors. To learn more, please contact us at 970.945.6605 or [email protected].

The experience of our guests is heavily influenced by our river guides. While the role is enjoyable and fulfilling, it can also be physically challenging and requires responsible individuals. If this is you, welcome aboard Captain!

To become a river guide, a comprehensive two-week training course is mandatory and provided by our partner, Blue Sky Rafting. The certification you receive upon completion is recognized by the state of Colorado and can easily be transferred to most other states. If you are already certified as a river guide in Colorado, this course will not be necessary, but you will still need to pass “Check Out” exams for each section of the river.

For those who are certified in other states, a transfer form is available to transfer your training to Colorado. If this applies to you, please let us know.

After finishing the training, it is also required to have personal protective equipment including a PFD (lifejacket), helmet, whistle, and river knife. Once you have completed the training, you will be eligible for pro-deals, which allow you to purchase these items at a reduced cost.

At Hanging Lake Adventure Co-op, our goal is to ensure that our guests have the ultimate adventure and activity experience. This begins with our dedicated river guides who play a crucial role in making this a reality. If you’re eager to be part of a lively and dynamic team and contribute to creating unforgettable memories for our guests, we encourage you to apply now!
