Embark on the Full Day Rafting Adventure with Blue Sky Rafting, in collaboration with our partners at Hanging Lake Adventure Co-op, and immerse yourself in the unhurried rhythm of the river for an entire day. The journey commences in the heart of Glenwood Canyon, featuring a thrilling 1.5-mile descent through the action-packed and continuous Class III Shoshone Rapids. Transitioning from Grizzly Creek, the trip unfolds into a more relaxed and picturesque section of the river. This serene float, adorned with intermittent splashes and occasional Class II-III waves, leads adventurers through the towering 1500' walls of Glenwood Canyon and into the charming town of Glenwood Springs. The morning section of the Full Day Rafting Adventure promises a perfect blend of whitewater excitement, breathtaking scenery, and moments of relaxation.

For lunch, indulge in a professionally catered riverside meal at our private river park, conveniently located just downstream of the Glenwood Whitewater Park. This culinary experience is designed to accommodate various dietary restrictions and preferences, with advance communication ensuring proper preparation. After refueling, guests continue downstream with the guide and raft, with the added option to incorporate one or two-person inflatable kayaks to enhance the adventure. This choice is based on each group's preference, with the guide remaining in the raft to provide comfort and security, ensuring every member can return if inflatable kayaking ventures into more adventurous territory. During the afternoon section, guests pass through an active Bald Eagle nesting area and a Great Blue Heron rookery.

The overall duration of the trip may vary depending on daily river flows and conditions, but a common experience includes an 18-mile float lasting 4 to 5.5 hours on the river and 5.5 to 6.5 hours in total.
